Mmmmm, smell that new blog smell. It's the last episode of 2014, with a giddy end of year feel to it. Looking back at the Christmas miracle that was the return of Dan Lovitz, the Robbie Findley trade, the inevitable re-signing of De Ro and all that other TFC stuff, including who deserves lavish gifts and who gets coal this year. Mark's very excited about his new idiot proof (so he thinks, we idiots prove him wrong)twitter handle, Tony gets defensive about Scarborough, Kristin displays an encyclopedic knowledge of Orlando's team meanwhile Duncan will touch you for Poutine. Everyone is back and accounted for, somehow, and the gang regretfully reviews the LA Galaxy game as well as look ahead to critical matches with Houston and New York Red Bulls. In this episode, Kristin gets a song, Mark makes a Latvian legend's name longer than necessary, and Tony and Duncan mind-meld to bring to you one of the most catchy/annoying novelty tracks to ever come out of 1987's England. Episode 57 - 14/10/01 #Comeback

Call it a comeback. By TFC and also by Kristin who has escaped from Vancouver and makes a triumphant hosting return. Mark is back from England, and was expected to make his own comeback but had to withdraw due to an 'unexpected' injury re-occurence. So it's another three person podcast (tri-pod?), reviewing the Portland game, the burgeoning momentum and the still existing problems that the comeback barely hid. There's also talk of Defoe and the upcoming hiding to nothing in L.A. They also picture how the other half will live after the BMO field renovation. Kristin reveals sleepover secrets, Duncan is clearly still pining for Preki, and Tony brings a really strong footy-cliche game. This one is live from the tunnel club, and due to technical difficulties it sometimes kind of sounds like we're at the other end of a tunnel. Apologies. Our sound technicians are being soundly (ha!) whipped as we speak. #Comeback

Well, it's back into the dramadome as everyone gets their message out there again this week. Mark's in London searching for Jermain Defoe, with mixed (drinks) results, but the gang dissect the latest Leiwekeleak (tm'd btw Toronto Sun!) as well as Nelson and Bez's words, while also reviewing the Chicago game and practically guaranteeing a win over Chivas USA. Kristin says we deserve what we get, Tony comes very close to turning up 24 hours early and Duncan absolutely nails a Wilmer Cabrera accent. #Dramadome

With Mark still away, having stolen the last place on Jurgen Klinsmann's squad ahead of Landon Donovan, the rest of the usual crew power through without him. Tony learns new phrases in Bulgarian and whatever language Moldovans speak, but what this episode really needs are the words for 'I'm sorry' in Greek. #Juliaaaoooooo

Episode 38 - 22/05/16 #inhumane

Once again undermanned as Mark sensibly takes his time returning so as not to aggravate his hamstring injury, the other 3 bravely soldier on without him. Caretaker Editor Duncan has figured out how to edit songs in, so there's a lot less singing in this one, not none, just less than last week. Tony gets angry at Arsenal fans while Kristin escalates a podcast war, though with no help from her fellow VMPers, and everybody laughs at Vancouver.
